Your Very Own Happily Ever After Fairytale

Fairytale transcends all cultural and background differences, and they are something we can all identify with. We grew up with stories about faraway lands, dashing princes, and beautiful princesses. Why we love them is perhaps because they’re inspirational and to a large extent, aspirational even.

How many of us wish (whether openly or otherwise) we have Snow White’s skin, Pocahontas’ athletic physique or Sleeping Beauty’s sharp chin? Probably more than you can imagine. There’s even an app that can turn you into one! We may have all grown up but for most of us women, there is still a little princess residing inside. Today with the advent and continuous advancement of modern medical aesthetic technology, we have the opportunity to turn fairytale into reality.

Fairytale: I’m dreaming of a princess

Let’s start with the skin. A quick trawl on the internet will reveal a myriad of skin-whitening creams and products that can leave a more radiant and fairer appearance. Apart from that, there are treatment facials that you can opt for to lighten your skin and also address some other skin issues that you may be facing. At Halley, for instance, its Total Whitening Programme combines laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments with photodynamic light therapy, whitening creams, and oral medications to even out and lighten skin tone, lighten pigment, and help rejuvenate the face at the same time.

When it comes to the face, the main issues are mostly about its shape, texture, and the laxity of the skin. There are a host of treatments and procedures that have been designed specifically for that need. These include non-invasive procedures like Ultherapy and rejuvenating lasers that can lift and tighten the skin and no downtime treatments like Botox jaw slimming that relaxes certain muscles on the jaw so that it becomes less prominent, creating a more appealing face shape.

As for the physique, apart from adopting a healthy lifestyle and diet, there are treatments that can reduce excess fats and contour the body. With the numerous treatment avenues available, it ultimately depends on what you need, what your doctor recommends, and how comfortable you are with the options presented.

If you’ve ever wanted to look like a princess, it’s good to know that now you can. Everyone deserves to have their dream come true and their very own happily ever after!
